Z Bar Angus is located at Marsden, Saskatchewan, approximately 45 minutes south of Lloydminster, along the Saskatchewan/Alberta Border.
Our cattle herd has always been angus influenced, both black and red. It was in Dec. of 2010, that we purchased our first group of registered black angus cows, and then some registered red angus a couple of years after that. We found that the Straight Canadian Angus genetics were very similar to the style of cows that we already had. That is why we focused on using those genetics in our purebred cattle.
We have built our herd up to 260 head, while most of them are black, we do have a select group of about 20-25 reds. The Straight Canadian genetics are renowned for the bulls to keep power and performance in your herd, while leaving you with feminine, exceptional producing females.
The bulls are sold as yearlings, by private treaty out of our yard. We also have replacement heifers available for sale as well. Come by and view the bulls and cows anytime and have a coffee. Or if you prefer come in the summer and spend the day touring the cattle.
We are a member of the Straight Canadian Angus Genetics group. Our group is dedicated to utilizing and improving Distinctive Angus Genetics. For more info on this group go to: StraightCanadianAngusGenetics.ca.
